Do all staff have current police checks and blue cards?

Yes, we do. Do you know whose coming into your home? Rest assured that McLeod's Painting are making sure that anyone who enters your home is a reputable tradesman.

Are all their painters trade qualified?

Yes, we are. All of our painters have a minimum of a Certificate III in Painting & Decorating or are an apprentice under the guidance of a Trade Qualified Painter.

Are they licensed by The Queensland Building Construction Commission (QBCC)?

Yes, we are. Our licence number is 15112463 and you can check it here.

Will my job be covered by the QBCC Home Warranty Insurance? 

Yes, it will. The QBCC Home Warranty Insurance is a mandatory insurance that by law all tradesmen must incorporate into their quote for any job over $3,300. Learn more here.

Do you have public liability insurance?

Yes, we do. We have insurance up to $20,000,000. We are able to provide you with a copy of our insurance details should you request us to.

Are they a member of the Master Painters Association of Australia?

Yes, we are. They are the industry leaders and keep us up to date with training and industry updates. Our membership number is 2001194. You can visit their website here.

Do they offer and grantees or warranties?

Yes, we do. We offer a 10 year written warranty* for all our roof painting work. *Conditions apply.

Yes, we are. This is by invitation only and means we signed and agreed to uphold the Dulux Accredited Painter Program Charter of Values, which encompasses:

What paperwork do I get?

Lots! By law we are required to provide you with at least the following:

1. A detailed written quote with a breakdown of the works.

2. A copy of the QBCC Consumer Building Guide. Please make sure you read and understand it.

3. A copy of the QLD Home Warranty Scheme which highlights how you are protected, what to look out for and if necessary, how to make a claim.

4. A detailed contract for all jobs over $3,300.
